Key concepts (the parts that matter most)

Included monthly minutes

Some plans include a monthly bundle of minutes. These minutes are used by your workspace during the billing period.

Rollover (carry unused minutes)

Unused included minutes can roll over, up to a maximum of 2 months. Example (made up):
  • Month 1: Your plan includes 1,000 minutes and you use 700 → 300 minutes unused
  • Month 2: You get 1,000 new minutes → you can use Month 2 minutes + 300 rolled over
  • The rollover balance can grow, but only up to the equivalent of 2 months max
Important: Rollover is capped at 2 months. It does not stack indefinitely.

Overage (what happens when you run out of minutes)

When your included minutes + rolled over minutes reach 0, Callin automatically applies overage so your calls can continue.
  • Overage is billed at the per-minute rate shown on your plan.
  • Each plan displays its own overage price (for example, 0.12/min,0.12/min, 0.10/min, etc.).
Example (made up):
  • Your plan includes 992 minutes and has $0.12/min overage.
  • You use 1,050 minutes this month.
  • The extra 58 minutes are billed at $0.12 per minute.
Common mistake: Assuming calls will stop at 0 minutes. By default, overage keeps calls running and charges per minute.

Concurrent calls (call concurrency)

Concurrent calls means how many calls can be active at the same time.
  • If your plan includes 7 concurrent calls, you can have up to 7 live calls simultaneously.
  • If an 8th call starts while 7 calls are already active, it may be blocked (behavior can vary by configuration).
A helpful way to remember it:
  • Minutes = total talk time you can use over the month
  • Concurrency = how many “live call slots” you have right now

Client accounts (white-label)

Client accounts are the number of separate client workspaces you can manage under your white-label setup (common for agencies).
  • Unlimited Plan and Growth+ Plan have no client account limit.
Tip: “No limit” can still be subject to fair-use policies depending on account settings.

Annual billing discount (10%)

If you purchase a plan annually, you get a 10% discount compared to paying month-to-month. In the UI, you’ll often see:
  • “Billed annually”
  • A reduced effective monthly price (sometimes shown next to a crossed-out price)

Plan details

Pay as you go (Pay-As-You-Go)

This is a pay-per-minute plan where you are billed for usage instead of receiving included minutes.
  • Rate: $0.16 per minute
  • Included minutes: none
  • Limit: 1 agent only
This option is best if you want a simple setup and pay only for what you use.

Starter Plan (White Label)

A starter white-label plan designed for smaller agencies.
  • Includes monthly minutes (with up to 2 months rollover)
  • Has an overage price per minute when minutes run out
  • Supports a starter concurrency level
  • Includes a limited number of client accounts

Premium Plan (White Label)

For growing agencies that need more minutes and more simultaneous calls.
  • More included minutes than Starter
  • Lower overage price than Starter
  • Higher concurrency
  • More client accounts than Starter

Unlimited Plan (White Label)

For higher-volume operations needing more concurrency and client flexibility.
  • Higher included minutes
  • Lower overage price
  • Higher concurrency
  • No limit on client accounts

Growth+ Plan (White Label)

For enterprise-scale usage with high concurrency and maximum client flexibility.
  • Highest included minutes
  • Lowest overage price
  • Highest concurrency
  • No limit on client accounts

Choosing the right plan

  • If you frequently hit your minute cap, consider a plan with more included minutes or a lower overage rate.
  • If calls get blocked during peak hours, you likely need higher concurrent calls.
  • If you manage many customers as an agency, prioritize client accounts (Unlimited and Growth+ remove the limit).
